The face of a city changes over time. Residents come and go. Children are born, go to school and stay or leave. Buildings are constructed and torn down, or slowly disintegrate. I have recorded some of these subtle changes and hope by doing this to add my photographic vision and images to the collective urban archival gallery.

Most of the images on this site are from neighborhoods in Oakland and San Francisco. Oakland locations include: East, West and North Oakland, 7th Avenue, Foothill Blvd., MacArthur Blvd., E. 14th/International Blvd., Market St., San Pablo Ave., Peralta and Adeline. San Francisco locations include: 24th Street, the Mission District and SOMA.
